Vist 2015 Pictures are posted

Hello All,
I post my pictures on Facebook by grouping.  This link is all the pictures we took during out visit.
It was an amazing visit.  We visited 100 homes.  Our home visits will help boost the economy in the village of Bakka.
We are supporting 50 students in High School and more than 200 children in primary schools.  Approximately 1,200 people for medical care.
Deworming is one of the best health benefits we provided in the past.  Int he past it was only one school.  This year we plan to deworm the entire village!  Details will be coming soon.
Love mom sandy :)

Life in the Village of Bakka

Everyday life in the village of Bakka is hard to imagine. Starting the day by fetching water, carrying it on your head for miles.  Fetching firewood to cook your food.  Digging in the garden to grow the food you will eat.  All of this is completed before the sun is too high in the sky.

Sleeping on dirt floors in leaky huts, with no electricty or any comforts, with a variety of insects.   Living on less than a $1.00 per day.  The prices of everything are the same or more than in the US.

Now imagine being blind or crippled in these conditions.   Kieza Robert 28 years old, fetches water to earn a living.  Kieza is blind, he is guided by 2 little girls, he follows them by listening to  their steps.  Kieza has never attended school.
The young girls, Celina age 6 and  Aisha age 8 are not attending school.  If we sponsor them for school Kieza will no longer have his job.  Prayers are needed to guide us in helping Kieza, Celina and Aisha.
