Beauty Salon- The next Business opportunity

We are turning our rental space into a beauty parlor.  We are going to find a women in the Village of Bakka that has been trained in hair dressing.  We will provide the set up and pay the rent.  (we need to rent the space to be a CBO)  We will ask her to train some of the young girls that are drop outs.  Pay it forward.  :)  I will keep you posted!

We will be collecting nail polish to bring with us.

Update- Fish Store and Beauty Salon

Noels fish store will start construction soon!  This will allow her to provide for her family more than her subsistence farming does now.  She will go to the river purchase fish.  Smoke them and dry them for sale.  Fish are enjoyed by all in the village.

We are going to provide another business opportunity in Bakka.  Our office space is more than we need.  We are going to help a women from Bakka set up a Beauty Salon.  We will continue to pay the rent and purchase the beauty shop equipment.  She must pay it forward by training students we identify.    Note: This is a shift from our original plan of a sewing center.

2nd Bore Hole in Bakka

The second bore hole in Bakka is officially providing water for the community!  Praise God from whom all blessings flow!  Pictures will be posted but I am so excited I could not wait to post!
It is amazing be part of God's work and helping to answer prayers.

Trust and obey!  It is the best way.

Dental Care needed

Donations needed for the children's dental care - $6.00 per extraction we need ~$2,000. needed please consider paying for 1 tooth. An abscess tooth is so painful this gift will be an answer to their prayer for relief.

Frank and Brian!

Frank and Brian our first graduates from Christian Mission Academy  Bakka enrolled in learning a trade.
They are both training to be mechanics!  These boys are sponsored without sponsorship they would not be learning a skill, the cycle of poverty would not be broken.

Marium

Marium one of the most inspirational JaJa's I've met in Uganda passed away yesterday.  Her joy, peace, grace and love was overflowing!   I will deeply miss seeing the glow of her smiling face when we visit.

I am confident she is part of the Choir of Angels in Heaven!
