I have reported the good that is happening this year with the project. But there are some very sad situations too.
Pastor Deo the minister at the Christian Mission Academy's , 11 year old son Samuel died this week from Malaria. In Uganda if you can't pay no treatment. By the time our on the ground team found out that the child was sick, it was too late to make a difference.
Neilko and his sister are living with their mom. Their Mom is very weak with HIV and not able to care for her children they are in a very bad situation.
Masitula one of the sponsored children will not be returning to the Christian Mission Academy. Her new guardian will not allow her. Her guardian is her father sister. Her father has been abusing her for years (unimaginable ways) and this young girl has been move from abusive situation to abusive situation. The report is that she is not visually being abused in this home. Masitual is an innocent child that touched my heart deeply and it brings me great sadness that there is nothing we can do to help her receive a stable life.
