Jane has 4 young daughters, she is a single mom. Her husband died several years ago, cause unknown until recently. Jane after several month of illness learned she is HIV positive. Her husband died several years ago undiagnosed. Now the cause is known.
Good news none of the daughters tested positive.
Our October visit we learned that Jane was keeping her daughters home to help her. She is to weak to tend the garden and do what was needed to care for her family. She needed her daughter help.
Kisoboka is now providing Jane and her family with a monthly food supply. The food supply will help Jane take the HIV medication without becoming sick. We are also exploring ways to help Jane establish a business that she has the energy to do. (we have done this successfully in the past)
Kisoboka is gently and lovingly lifting a family out of extreme poverty by providing support for Jane, and educating for her 4 daughters.
